Glad that our heroine is finally willing to trust her instincts and see that she might have a whole reverse harem of mates， but Elizabeth Helen is over here trying to throw curveballs and deny it。 We know what this is， EH。Kairyn （which I can only read as "Karen，" but I'm guessing is meant to be "KIE-rinn"） is an interesting-ish new character。 Do we trust him or is he the worst？ Also， Caspian's "sister" is another tragedy-informed villain。 Also Wrenley， who is not to be trusted （she's giving Iant Glad that our heroine is finally willing to trust her instincts and see that she might have a whole reverse harem of mates， but Elizabeth Helen is over here trying to throw curveballs and deny it。 We know what this is， EH。Kairyn （which I can only read as "Karen，" but I'm guessing is meant to be "KIE-rinn"） is an interesting-ish new character。 Do we trust him or is he the worst？ Also， Caspian's "sister" is another tragedy-informed villain。 Also Wrenley， who is not to be trusted （she's giving Ianthe from ACOTAR--sweet priestess with an evil agenda）。 。。。more

This is the third book in the series， and you can feel the tension building。 This is where the fun flirty whimsy story becomes real。 The challenges， background story， and depth of these characters leave you truly worried for them。 Rosie and her princes are not what you excepted them to be。 Where you thought this story was going， it isn’t。 The predictability for someone who reads fantasy romance may be a bit easier， than it is for others， but these sisters twisted the plot in just the right ways This is the third book in the series， and you can feel the tension building。 This is where the fun flirty whimsy story becomes real。 The challenges， background story， and depth of these characters leave you truly worried for them。 Rosie and her princes are not what you excepted them to be。 Where you thought this story was going， it isn’t。 The predictability for someone who reads fantasy romance may be a bit easier， than it is for others， but these sisters twisted the plot in just the right ways to keep you guessing。 Your love and hate for certain characters will swap more times than you can count。 The complexity is only increased， by the rising tension。 While reading you’ll feel yourself holding your breath from chapter to chapter。 The spice is this series went from lukewarm to fully charged！ And THANK YOU FOR THAT！This is definitely a series to start now， because with what the sisters brought us this round， you know this series has the potential to reach an ACOTAR level of appreciation。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I waited until 5 of December with the knowledge that this will be the last book。 But after I read the second book I realised that they will be five books for five mates。 Your books are amazing， with plot and spice。 I would’ve liked Caspian to be the third claimed mate but I guess I will have to wait。 From the ending I see that Wrenley wants Day and magically made the mate bond。 I would have really wish the waiting for the mate bonds to “activate” was not in the plot after all we all already know I waited until 5 of December with the knowledge that this will be the last book。 But after I read the second book I realised that they will be five books for five mates。 Your books are amazing， with plot and spice。 I would’ve liked Caspian to be the third claimed mate but I guess I will have to wait。 From the ending I see that Wrenley wants Day and magically made the mate bond。 I would have really wish the waiting for the mate bonds to “activate” was not in the plot after all we all already know that they are。 Insta bonds are better for this scenario and let them suffer and fight for each other。 Anyway I have been looking for a book like this in 6 months and I had no luck。 Either the plot or writing sucked。 Thank you for making me obsessed for a day and a half。 Making me read all three。 If you get out the last two books within short amount of time will be greatly appreciated。 。。。more

I received an ARC for an honest review。 This series was my guilty pleasure。 Why Choose isn’t something I normally read because I find the books are all 🍤 no plot。 This book bucks that trend。 Oh。 My。 Gods。 This has gone from a cozy， feel-good romantasy to epic fantasy with spice。 This is no longer a guilty pleasure， this is a serious contender for one of my favourite books of this year。 The third instalment of the Beast of the Briar series focuses on Ezryn and is a loose retelling of the Lion Kin I received an ARC for an honest review。 This series was my guilty pleasure。 Why Choose isn’t something I normally read because I find the books are all 🍤 no plot。 This book bucks that trend。 Oh。 My。 Gods。 This has gone from a cozy， feel-good romantasy to epic fantasy with spice。 This is no longer a guilty pleasure， this is a serious contender for one of my favourite books of this year。 The third instalment of the Beast of the Briar series focuses on Ezryn and is a loose retelling of the Lion King。 The relationship between Farron and Dayton is reminiscent of Song of Achilles。 Kel is as icy as ever， but we do see him thaw somewhat。 We see Caspian in full technicolour， the good， the bad， and the ugly。 Rosie， our FMC， was bad ass as always， but Ezryn really steals the show。 As he should。 Why only 4 stars？ I felt the first third of the book was a little loose。 It didn’t read as polished as the rest of it。 I would also have liked a bit more introspection from Rosie about how she can tell one Prince “I’m yours” one minute， and get frisky with another the next。 If the lovers/best friends feelings were explored a little more then I think this would have been 5 stars。 。。。more

If you thought you had the plot figured out， no you didn't。 The Beast of Briar series continues to be my current favorite series with the release of Forged by Malice。 The authors Elizabeth Helen constantly keep me on my toes with their plot twists and emotional rollercoasters， this book has me gasping， made my heart sing， had me throwing my kindle， yelling， had me falling into an emotional void。 Of course， all the books tend to evoke the big emotions， so if you haven't read the first two books I If you thought you had the plot figured out， no you didn't。 The Beast of Briar series continues to be my current favorite series with the release of Forged by Malice。 The authors Elizabeth Helen constantly keep me on my toes with their plot twists and emotional rollercoasters， this book has me gasping， made my heart sing， had me throwing my kindle， yelling， had me falling into an emotional void。 Of course， all the books tend to evoke the big emotions， so if you haven't read the first two books I highly recommend them， especially if you are a why choose fan who loves multiple points of view with the perfect amount of spice。 In fact， they are the books I loan out the most from my personal library。 In Forged by Malice we really get to dive deeper into our cast of characters， there is much needed growth from some of our Briar boys and we discover important story points that have really been essential to uncovering the mysteries of the the past between the Castletree gang， Caspian， and some other shocking reveals I won't list because I want you to be as shocked as I was。 It's definitely time to revise your theories on the curse， the bonds， Castletree， the Queen， I'm talking about some big edits， my friends。 The more you get into the book the less you're going to be willing to put it down。 There is a great deal thrown at you in this quick paced love affair with trauma， have your schedule mapped out for a mental health moment afterwards。 And on that note: I highly recommend this book！  。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 To start， this does contain spoilers！ What can I say about this book… This picked up where we left off and the thorns just kept growing and twisting and ensnaring us even more。 We pretty much loved all the Princes from the start and with each book we see more and more of them and learn about who they really are and what makes them the ruler they are。 We got to go even deeper into Ezryn and the tragedy they shaped him and the loyalty he has for his family。 We finally learned about Kels coldness a To start， this does contain spoilers！ What can I say about this book… This picked up where we left off and the thorns just kept growing and twisting and ensnaring us even more。 We pretty much loved all the Princes from the start and with each book we see more and more of them and learn about who they really are and what makes them the ruler they are。 We got to go even deeper into Ezryn and the tragedy they shaped him and the loyalty he has for his family。 We finally learned about Kels coldness and saw him embrace his mate bond （as much as he can embrace it） with Rose。 It was a wild ride because we saw the growth， the betrayals， the highs and even the lows with this Family and we finally got to see the romance and love between Ezryn and Rose really start to blossom and the mate bond finally open up between them and then we immediately start with the hair pulling and the frustration！ The Curse can be BROKEN！ And yet， it isn’t because Ezryn was too lost in memories and the struggle of extra power 😩 so the mate bond is there， but the curse is still intact。 Of course this book does end in a cliff hanger and we find out even more juicy tidbits; such as the Queens whereabouts， the connection between Cas and Dose is answered and I have some mighty suspicions about Wrenley， I mean the the Nightingale… who I dislike with a passion！ I will leave it at this and just say you need to read it because this is a 5 star book with all the adventure， romance， and spice， spice and more spice you are looking for！ 。。。more

This series was worth the wait， as soon as I got an email for its ARC I dropped everything and locked myself away so I could transport back into the enchanted veil。 These sisters know what they are doing to keep on your toes and always sneaking in lore that keeps readers guessing and theorizing。 Ez finally has the stage and god it’s tragically beautiful 😍。🐚👔👿
